1. When is the shoot?
The shoot is on Saturday September 17th 2011 from 9:00am to 6:00 PM. The event will be a "carnival" like event so shooters can come and go throughout the day as they please. Shoot all day or just a few hours.
2. What kind of events will there be?
We will have multiple events. A short list of stages inlcude:
- Tactical Pistol stages (Multiple themes)
- Tactical Shotgun stage (Junkyard Theme)
- Tactical Rifle stages (Multiple Themes)
- "Traditional" Shotgun (2-Man Zombie Flurries)
- Throwing Knives
- And more...
Shooters will need to bring the following
- FOID card if Illinois resident
- Eye and Ear protection
- Any guns they wish to use (must have cases). Stages are geared towards modern semi automatic rifles and pistols. 30 round magazines are recommended for rifle and standard high capacity magazines for pistols. Traditional Shotgun stages will be geared towards any over under or semi auto gun for trap or sporting clays.
- Clothing appropriate for the weather (Expect anything! Last year we had snow in the morning and went home sunburned)
- Ammunition for your guns. Some notes, no steel core ammunition If you're unsure, try to see if a magnet will stick to your ammunition. Shotgun ammunition should be 7.5 shot.
No, you can shoot as many or as few events as you choose. Your admission fee will include several event tickets and more event tickets will be available on site.
5. Do I need a FOID card?
Yes, see question 3. You will need a current valid FOID card if you are an Illinois resident.
6. Will there be food provided?
There will several local vendors from the Waterman area providing food options.
7. Can children under 18 shoot?
Yes, but they will need to be directly supervised by a parent or guardian.
8. Can I sponsor the event?
