Pistol Stages:

  • 50 FOOT, Bay #1.  Pistol challenge.  You thought you found a good place to rest.  As you start to doze, you hear a shout.  One of your team has been surprised at the perimeter by a hoard of Zombies.   You’ve got two magazines ready, but none in your gun!  Quickly load and take out all of the zombies – there’s a bunch of ‘em.  But don’t hit your teammate.  He’s right in the way. (2 Tickets)
  • 50 FOOT Range, BAY 2. Pistol/Carbine. Will you survive the Medical Facility? 10 rounds, 10 targets, 2 magazines, zero chance for failure! Upon entering the Medical Facility you are given a time limit, a bullet limit, a mission and a chance to save humanity:  Kill all the zombies, obtain the serum, find the secret code and get out alive!  Rifle or Pistol course, prizes goes the fastest in both categories, and a random raffle of all those left "alive."  Look for the smoke, listen for the screams. (4 Tickets)
  • Location TBD,  Pistol  ZOMBIE SPINNER. Accuracy and perfect timing come into play. How many rounds will it take you to spin the Zombie Head?  Prize goes to the least number of shots.  Tiebreaker goes to fastest time. (2 Tickets)
  • 25 Yard Range, BAY 1. Pistol/Carbine/Shotgun.  Rifle Sight in stage.  Just want to plink?  Sight in your gun before taking on the other stages? This is the place for you.  (1 Ticket)
Shotgun Stages:

  • 25 Yard, BAY 2.  Tactical Shotgun.  You arrive at the site of a plane crash.  But the "survivors" aren't alive...yet they aren't dead either.  Take out the 6 zombies in the wreckage before the plane explodes.  You have 90 seconds to complete the course and of course, fastest time takes the prize. (3 Tickets)
  • 200 yard range.  Mixed tactical shotgun.  On the way back from a twinkie scavenger hunt you hear the sounds of a damsel in distress.  You pause and wonder if you really heard the screams.  After hearing another piercing wail, you decide to run towards the sound.  Even though part of you screams run away, far away.  You arrive in a clearing to discover a fellow survivor being assailed by zombies.   You take aim and begin picking off the crawling horde that she has already knocked to the ground, just to discover they also throw globs of virus infected body parts at you!!!.  You have never seen them attack from the ground and air!   Will you save this damsel from being bitten?  Will you both be hit by putrid chunks of flesh??  Watch out, just when you think you have killed that crawling zombie, it flings death your way.....

8 shells, 8 targets.  We will keep track of both time and targets hit to determine winner.  We can also present targets 2 at a time for those whose gun only holds 2 shells (but be ready to load fast).
Rifle Stages

  • 50 Yard, Stage 1: The Grave Yard.  You have multiple zombies to take out.  Head shots only of course.  Make sure to eliminate the hordes of Zombies in the grave yard, and eliminate the marching zombie.  1 Magazine only on this stage, so be accurate. (2 Tickets)
  • 50 Yard, Stage 2.  Zombie VTAC drill.  This is an ASC Practical Rifle favorite. The infamous VTAC 9-Hole drill with a Zombie theme.  You think you are a quick shot with your rifle?  You think you are up to the challenge?  But how will you do in the 9-hole drill?  This is a stage you have to try once to understand how hard it really is.  1 steel target at 50 yards, 9 shots from 9 different shooting positions.  Just make sure to stretch first because this stage will challenge you!  (2 Tickets)
  • 100 Yard, The Junk Yard.  You visit the junk yard to scavenge supplies, but you aren't alone.  There are Multiple Zombies approaching in the distance.  Can you take them out in time?  (2 Tickets)
More descriptions to come!

  5. What is considered steel core?

  6. Steel core ammo is where the actual lead bullet is formed around a steel inner bullet. This is a military style bullet that is supposed to penetrate foliage and cover better. It was produced as a result of comments from the military that the AK bullet packed more punch. (I'm not an expert, I'm sure someone here could provide more details.)
